Protecting your data is extremely important to us. Once devices arrive at our processing facilities, we use advanced sanitization processes to permanently erase data in compliance with strict industry standards, including DoD 5220.22. This ensures complete data security while allowing devices to be safely refurbished or responsibly recycled.

Our partners are NAID AAA certified and eStewards certified, meaning they follow some of the highest standards for electronics recycling and data destruction. These certifications also align with HIPAA-compliant practices for secure data handling.

All hard drives are either sanitized according to NIST 800-88 standards or physically shredded to ensure data cannot be recovered.

It’s good practice to wipe or factory reset your devices before sending them in, just in case packages get lost on their way to us.
